A simple installation process adds Property Search and Featured Listings tabs to your Facebook Business Page. Any Facebook visitor can view your listings or search the MLS right from Facebook. If they see a property that interests them, they can schedule a showing or request more information instantly. You’ll receive their contact information via email, but you can also track leads and other activity in your Control Panel.
Optima Social brings our social media leading MLS search and proven lead generation technology to Facebook – and now, to real estate agents without a personal website. Schedule a conversation with e-Man for Real Estate IDX and get our custom IDX solutions integrated into a stylish website! The IDX for our websites will include a universal search bar, eureka map search, polygon map search, community search, and registration prompts for your website. Keep in mind, that our IDX solutions for real estate brokers in search of more custom and stylish websites have no current Facebook compatibility. But you’ll still have the option of paying a separate monthly fee to have the IDX for Facebook.
Remember the Facebook Apps that make it possible to have IDX installed on your Facebook business page can be placed on as many business pages as you would like. Just make sure it follows the guidelines of eligibility detailed here.
Customize Your Property Search & Listings on Facebook
We at e-Man Worldwide know that agents and brokers need to be where the people are; that’s why we built our popular Facebook app that brings MLS search and Featured Listings to Facebook pages. It’s a feature compatible with our WordPress, and Squarespace website packages, and also available as a stand-alone IDX for Facebook product.
As important as it is for agents and brokers to have a presence on social media sites, it’s also necessary for them to maintain their brand. That’s why we added the ability to upload a banner image to display within the Facebook pages. Your prospects will be searching on Facebook, but the brand is still yours. Upload any image – if it’s over 750 pixels wide, it will be scaled down to fit.
Installing the IDX for Facebook app is easy, and the tabs added to your page will display our default Property Search and Featured Listings images. If you want to customize your page further, you can replace these images with your own custom images by signing into your Facebook Business Page and clicking “Edit Page” > “Update Info”. Then select “Apps” – choosing “Edit Settings” for the Property Search and Featured Listings apps will allow you to upload a new image to display instead of the default.

Clicking your new tabs will bring visitors to a Search Form or Featured Listing page within Facebook. If you’ve uploaded a banner image it will display here. Search results and property details will display within your website, in a new tab.
Make Facebook App The Default Page
Our social media IDX for Facebook is included in our standard WordPress and Squarespace designs for real estate agents and brokers. Many clients have asked about setting the Facebook App as the default when their Facebook business page is opened.
You just have to click Manage Permissions when using the Business page, select Property Search as the Default Landing Tab, and Save Changes. That’s it!
